Sen. Claire McCaskill (D., Mo.) is running for reelection and said she was “hitting the road” in an RV to tour the state
The RV (named BigBlue by the campaign) was unveiled to great fanfare
The campaign kept a live blog of its three-day RV trip from May 29 to May 31, posting updates of its whereabouts

The RV may have been touring the state, but it turns out the senator was using her million-dollar private plane rather than riding along
When she was called out for flying in a private plane when she was supposed to be traveling the state in an RV on a Vets tour, the Senator responded, "Paying on my own dime to visit more Missouri veterans is not something I'm going to apologize for"

Claire McCaskill’s Private Plane Used on Campaign’s RV Tour Through Missouri

And before anyone says "but President Trump has a plane too," the point is that she made a big deal about touring the state by RV while she was actually flying around

this is doing the rounds on the internet

Donald Trump Jr was one of those who posted that, which drew a snarky response from Ms Ocasio-Cortez

Ocasio-Cortez appears to have broken the law by threatening to use the subpoena power of Congress to retaliate against a US citizen

Where is the threat? Hard to imagine a much worse day for the Trump family in court than yesterday. Short of any of them actually being on the stand. But all in due course.

there's a nice article from Fox comparing the Mueller probe to the Clinton email investigation
False statement charges abound in Mueller probe, in contrast to Hillary Clinton case
Nearly every Trump campaign associate indicted in Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s sprawling Russia probe has been charged with making false statements.
But in a striking contrast, raising questions about a possible double standard, not a single person interviewed during the FBI’s Hillary Clinton email investigation was hit with false statement charges – even though investigators believed some witnesses were untruthful.
The same laws are supposed to apply to everyone. Either you charge them all or you charge none. As long as there is consistency, I don't care which.

On that note, (former FBI Director) Comey seems to have changed his story on (former National Security Advisor) General Flynn. Having previously told Congress that Flynn didn't lie in the ambush FBI interview, Comey told Congress last week that Flynn did lie.
One or other of Comey's statements has to be untrue, so no doubt we can look forward to Comey being charged with lying to Congress.
I don't think so either.

As you well know, selective prosecution is practiced all the time everywhere. In this case you have layer upon layer of lies to protect Trump and his family from the consequences of their crimes, and Mueller is peeling them back like an onion. Crying will ensue! And yes, FoxNews says stuff...

there's a nice twitter thread about the sentencing memo for General Flynn
ServetusM @ServetusMM
I've said it before, what happened to a few of these guys is unpardonable. They were called in during the counter intelligence (Non-criminal) portion of the investigation, to be asked about non-criminal offenses. That was spun into felony charges.
(snip)
You can see Flynn assumed this was a standard debrief. Details of this interview were leaked HOURS after it was done (By Sztork) and then months later, despite it all being non-criminal, it was using to CREATE criminal charges.
And once again, we see that the FBI agents didn't think Flynn was lying but charged him anyway
Image

And again with the selective prosecution: Comey, Yates, McCord and McCabe gave conflicting statements to a congressional committee
Image

Congress asked them WHY they interviewed Flynn and they all gave different (conflicting) answers. That's called lying to Congress. And yet none of them has been charged with lying to Congress.
The Flynn interview was a perjury trap. They weren't investigating a crime (there wasn't one), they were there to create a crime.

lol, that's the best you can do?
People like Brit Hume have been linking him (or her) because he (or she) has been producing documents from the mueller probe, and the best bet seems to be a US lawyer sympathetic to the president

from fox:
defendant's memorandum (pdf)

Flynn says FBI pushed him not to have lawyer present during interview
The whole interview was a perjury trap, and even though they didn't think Flynn was lying, he was charged anyway

Congress seems to have figured out what was going on and asked the usual suspects what the reason for the interview was.
The gang couldn't even get their story straight on WHY they were interviewing Flynn and the 4 of them gave conflicting answers
Image
i.e. some of them lied to the oversight committee

josh gerstein is senior legal affairs contributor for politico and formerly WH correspondent for ABC

302 is  a document that FBI agents are supposed to complete after an interview, but the one in Flynn's case was dated August for a January interview. Congress suspected this was a replacement 302 and the original was destroyed

Flynn is so last year. Cohen and Tallywhacker are likely to be of much greater interest to that new congress.
