Of course we can’t do anything in the next 30 days. The French don’t get back from their holidays until October...2023.
The Summer Shutdown is a glorious thing. I wish we had something like that in the UK.

It works for the French because they are lazy. Brits aren’t good with leisure time, we’d turn to drink and fighting.

It's cool. I'm lazy too. Laziness drives invention.

I know a few very intelligent but lazy men - they married women who know how to hustle one way or another.

This is a different spin on that (con artist rather than corporate exec), but not so unusual there (and it’s the same really....)

There is a thin line between tech start-ups and con games - she should move to Silicon Valley!

Criminal or not - what would you choose: these green eyes or some wood file?

Difficult conundrum.
Too binary. I would invite her to my willow-burning party (the blocks are 90 cm in diameter and 30 cm in thickness; I bet you city folk only use bags of blocks from BP petrol station at 8 quid  a go and are all gone after an hour!)..

Besides, she is innocent until proven guilty, what?

Send the wife and kids to the beach house in July. Then chill out with buddies in city., Then join the family for the month of August.

Taking a page from the Trump playbook (I hereby order all business to do my bidding!), BoJo is looking to close down Parliament for five weeks in order to avoid the "undemocratic" backstop. Nothing democratic about Parliament, right? Fuck them!

Ex PM John Major is against this too. But he did it himself in 1997 to bury some sleaze allegations. John Major is against Brexit too. He is a hypocrite.

Obviously, anybody against Brexit is a hypocrite. That should go without saying. They may not have wanted Corbyn, but they'll surely get him. Of course, that applies to all those upstanding Brexiteers, too.

But, frankly, relative to what Trump is in the process of doing to the world, Brexit is somewhere between a hiccup and an afterthought.
