I don't really know much about Laxey, other than the wheel. Although I did buy a Sherlock Holmes deerstalker in a shop there.
We got up to the mine entrance. On the way down the killer bees attacked us.
I remember going down some tunnel. No bees though.

We need a Brexit theme song. I vote for "Wish Me Luck as You Wave Me Goodbye." The war link will trigger all the right people!
Perhaps something by The Clash would fit the current spirit? "Should I stay or should I go?"

Brexit 'war cabinet' led by Michael Gove draws up No Deal dossier warning Ireland could be hit by medical shortages and border delays to use as 'leverage' against Dublin if withdrawal talks break down

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/articl ... -Deal.html

I wouldn't be too concerned. But it will succeed in getting people's back up.

That would be a good one for Jeremy Corbyn!

If you should ever leave me
Though life would still go on, believe me
The world could show nothing to me
So what good would living do me
God only knows what I'd be without you

A new low for Ireland, collaborating with Germany over annexing part of another country. At least in WWII they didn’t take a view on Naziism.

Nice try.
They tried the same thing in 1798 with the French and before that with the Spanish Armada.NI is not a country, it has no parliament.

At least in WWII they didn’t take a view on Naziism.
Who told you that?

You sound like an excerpt from a John Bull magazine from yore.

Oh, I see. Sorry. And adopt the DUP while you're at it.

Not true; it's 13 words and ONE letter! In C++, 'A' is a letter and "A" is a word.

I've got a cold and sore throat.I am putting myself to the fullest possible use, which is all I think that any conscious entity can ever hope to do.
OK, give us the the first letter. 'part' is very vague (e.g. Gibraltar, Rockall), 'province' is almost precise.

Boris has had a meeting with David Sassoli. Sassoli is yet another EU President I’ve never heard of. This raises many questions. How many presidents are there? Is it true that one day every EU citizen will be a president for 15 minutes? Where is the Wikipedia section for Sassoli’s controversies, frauds, fines, etc.? Every other EU bureaucrat has one.
