Not surprising to me, the first one is a funnel and once people pass that they put in more effort for the other ones I would assume.

Yes, there is a known effect in the UK A levels (exams at 18) where the harder Further Math A level exam has a higher pass rate because only the kids with a proven aptitude take it.

January 2018 passrate 43%
I'm seeing a pattern here: the last 5 L1 exams have had the same pass rate (43%).
In the old days, it was all over the place

June 2018 passrate
L1 still 43%
L2 45%
L3 will be released later (L1 and L2 are all multiple choice these days but L3 still requires writing so takes longer to grade)
The exam was a few weeks later this year to accommodate Ramadan which (the delay) reportedly wrecked the vacation plans of non-islamic candidates, hence the results are also later

Numbers taking the exam have collapsed, as well as numbers passing.
The CQF on the other hand has almost doubled in the last couple of years!

Congratulations Paul and the CQF team!
It looks an incredible finance training. And I like very much the maths, python and finance "primers" to get you started / get you comfortable in these areas before moving to the actual CQF program.
