Any input on InvestCorp Asset Management(NY,LON,ME)

Sure. There are at least four types of names for financial employers:1) The Names - as in Cantor Fitzgerald,2) The Meaningless Things and Locations - such as Timber Hill or Brandywine Parters,3) The Impressionists - such as Quantum fund or Granite Partners, and4) The Accurate but Dull - such as InvestCorp Asset Management...InvestCorp Asset Management (wonder what they do?) falls into the fourth category.MP

Thomson Financials (Venturexpert - sp?) is the place to look for info on this kind of firms. From what I can remember it's a private equity house.

They are most famous for (or rather I remember them best as) the firm that had a stake in Gucci.I knew a chap in NY there eons ago. He wasn't the brightest, but could drink like a fish.
