Graphing library/ open source code

Charlie,The GIS (Geographical Information Systems) community does a lot of work with 3D and elevation data, and as such there are a lot of GIS freeware tools out there. A good starting point is www.geocomm.com which provides links to software tools. Also take a look at the USGS site (US Gov.) - If I remember well, one of their research groups was making some of their graphics tools available, together with source code.BTW, any luck with the color map ? Don't hesitate to contact me through the private message board if you need more info.B.

Charlie,Not exactly sure want you want/need here (data visualization is a big field), but I can probably help.We do a lot of N-dim visualization here in Oklahoma (mostly weather and GIS), so I probably have what youneed in my code toolbox (compiled perl, mostly. Easily plugged into a vb macro).Contact me via email with a little more detail in the problem descr and I will try to guide you to the right tool.BTW, if its just something like a simple planetary 3-D model, it would probably be just as well to give you thepsuedo-code so you can plug it into a vb macro and call it your own.Happy programming!-Gluphus
