I officially start to look for an internship or a job today.I have never worked in financial institutions before, quite confused about the job-hunting process, I would appreciate a lot, if someone could answer some of my simple or maybe stupid questions.when you guys search for the quant positions, where did you guys start, did you go to websites of individual banks or some general job websites, like monster.com to look for the positions?usually, what kind of job titles do quants have and in which departments do they work?
