To DCFC: This course is 17000 pounds for tuition only for the year 2004-2005To Fleetingboston: I have a Bachelor Degree in engineering from a top University in Canada, and have worked in the software business for more than 2 years. To Zaman: I have applied and been accepted to the MSc Finance programme, rather than the Math Finance programme. Does your comment still apply? Thanks.Flora

On another note can anyone tell us about the social scene, student lifestyle for the MSc Fin ppl at Imperial? Is it a hardcore work environment, or is it pretty relaxed and collegiate?

TO Flora:Well, all I know about MSc in Finance is that it's more quantitative than other Finance programs but definitely less quant-oriented than Financial Math/Engineering programs. The faculty of that program isn't very well known as well (which does not mean that the program isn't great). My suggestion is that unless you can easily afford ot pay for that program (or your employer is paying for it), try for other fin. eng programs. If this is your only choice than you may take a risk ( I would ). By the way, which Cdn uni are you from. I'm at U of T.

Re Claudio Albanese, he is a new professor in the mathematics department, that means he is involved with Imperial's MSc Mathematics and Finance program in the first place.SLSQuoteOriginally posted by: flora....To Zaman: I have applied and been accepted to the MSc Finance programme, rather than the Math Finance programme. So Claudio Albanese is leaving for UK ... does it mean University of Toronto's MMF program is weaker than before?
