Help on trading strategies for derivative instruments

Greetings to everyone,I am currently taking a course in Treasurey management and would like to know the various trading strategies involved.eg, when do we short put, long put, short call, long call ... etcAny books to recommend on those? Like what are the strategies and flip side involved.As for trading in forex, what are the strategies employed. My exam is ard 3 weeks away. Thanks.Thank You.

your exam is in 3 weeks and you only ask now???start by pickin' up a derivatives book eg John Hull, Don Chance etc and start reading. trading strategies and option combos can be used in any market from fx to bonds to stocks to commodities etc. the real question should be when to employ which strategy...good luck...
