We should try that one of these days.by "you guys" you mean "Balaji's guys" I myself am a white anglo saxon evangelical fundamentalist paleoconservative, who hasn't been enthused about a president since Ronald Reagan retired from office. And I have no idea what the president vs the prime minister of india does, but hopefully there is some separation of powers safeguard in there, just as power in the US is split between executive, legislative and judicialNo. I did not mean "balaji's guys" or anybody else but whoever solve the problem of self-selection of idiots to the goverment (a worldwide phenomenon perhaps?).Stupidity is a worldwide trait; it do not exclude WASP or Indian or Latins or anybody in particualr.

We should try that one of these days.by "you guys" you mean "Balaji's guys" No. I did not mean "balaji's guys" in that case, I suggest you take a crash course in grammar, as when you use the second person ("you") when replying to a post gives folks the impression that you are addressing your comments to the person who wrote the post to which you are replying :-) QuoteStupidity is a worldwide trait; it do not exclude WASP or Indian or Latins or anybody in particualr. Puerto Ricans also ? Numero UNO: Grammar course? Well;... ok. No problema. Just for the recod "you guys" is so gwenreal I could be addressing anybody 9in fact that was the idea).Numero UNO plus UNO (two?): Yes, stupidity is a greta deal in Puerto rico (most of the idiots are in the goverment. We try hard to keep them from actual damaging anything but it is not easy task. Perhaps there is some sort of corrletation between morons IQ level and congressguys? uhm??We might be into something important....If for soem reason I just dissapear follow the leads so ....

IQ test question

BTW, I just checked my link and realized it is 40 questions, not 20 as I previously stated. Sorry. For research purposes, I paid the $12.95 to get the full blown results. For kicks I retook it and put the correct answer for each one (the paid results include the answer key). Getting 40 out of 40 gets you an IQ of 144. Seems kind of low for the top end of the test, no?So, I suspect the test might be good for average IQs, but less valid for the tails.

Yeah, but I had the answer key in front of me, so I didn't even have to fully read each question. I'd say I did the 40 questions in about 5 minutes. You couldn't really do it faster than that if you were actually reading each one.

Without cheating was 39/40 equals 142.I think my wife said she had 35/40 and this was scored at 133.So it doesn't seem too linear. Unless there is some kind of baseline, and each one above that is vaguely linear. Anybody else care to post results, more out of interest in the way it's scored than knowing how "intelligent" you are? You could probably even hack someone else's account so we wouldn't know who it really was!

IQ test question

May 25th, 2004, 9:55 pm

I got 158 at iqtest.com, but I took a phone call in the middle and didn't try very hard. I didn't want to know. But then when I saw how well I did I wished I had tried harder. Two years later I had completely forgotten all the questions when I came across the site again. This time I made sure to think about every answer, but I also tried to get through it in less than half the time. Somehow I still got 158.There are people much better at those types of questions than me, whom I wouldn't exactly call geniuses. My guess is that it's only useful for measuring the maturity of young children.

IQ test question

Got a 162 on the one on iqtest.com. So, clearly the scale of one of them is off. Although I'd prefer the 162, that score seems too high, and the 142 from the other test more closely matches others I've done.

I also got a 142. If that is high or low I really don't know.Although I like the description that I got "Your Intellectual Type is Visionary Philosopher. This means that you are highly intelligent and have a powerfull mix of skills and insight that can be applied in a variety of different ways. Like Plato, your exceptional math and verbal skills make you very adapt at explaining things to others - and at anticipating and predicting patterns."A little over the top me thinks. Might they be trying to sell me something? I didn't know Plato had any mathematical skills.Regards,Niclas
