"Do you really want a profoundly inebriated person, who probably, being a member of this forum, is all thumbs even when sober, changing your sons diapers?"You mean, all this guff everybody here spews about 'volatility surfaces' and the applications of topology mathematics to correlation and making alpha out of it is all nice in *theory* but that nobody here can put one simple manifold on another (albeit wiggling) manifold?<sigh!>Typical quants. Implimentation and calibration are beyond what they know is the appropriate best fit.<sigh....> Back to managing my high yield fund with weighted average duration and convexity. And I had such hopes.

Congratulations. I would strongly recommend a bouncy chair such as Chair (something like this but I don't know this particular brand) if you don't already have one. They are only good for a couple of months but are greatly appreciated.

many thanks (again) for my cyber-drinkin' budddy's warm wishes.Special thanks to SanFranCA2002 for that particular chair model rec, of which we have an inferior version of. I think the price may be within capex and write-off for our budget. My view: $$$ spent on optimizing consciousness are rarely over-expended. Especially at early years.Benjamin is a lot of fun. I really cannot express to you how giddy happy I am. Despite all the trauma that WILMOTT has experienced the last few days, I am just so darn happy and thankful it pales in comparison. I can only wish that you all experrience the same measure of joy in your lives, under goals (surprises!) that end up meaning as much to you. Thanks again for sharing in my joy. We really feel blessed to have folks who wish us so well. - james
