Either employers all of a sudden heard about our program or the market has really really picked up. In between finals week last semester and now, many of my classmates have found jobs. For those who aren't graduating just yet, the quality of their internships also improved dramatically: people are doing FE related work at BB banks/hedge funds as oppose to copying and pasting grunt work. I could go as far as claiming this has turned out to be one of the best years in recent times for MSFE grads. Not only is hiring up for local candidates, international students are also getting offers and h1 sponsorship, truly amazing compared to the job market 6 months ago.Jenny seems to be genuinely concerned about getting us jobs and has been actively arranging interviews for those who are still looking. I have also heard about setting up a reliable alumni database (job/location/salary range maybe) for future students and for networking.I hope some of you could start/continue to post here, giving future students a good insider perspective. You will develop new opinions on the program as it evolves, and it would be great if you could share those views as well. Thanks for reading and best of luck to all of you.
