Gas Oil options

July 16th, 2004, 6:57 am

Hi,I'm looking for sources for Gas Oil options (aka Heating Oil??)in Europe. The IPE lists Gas Oil options as a traded product, but a quicklook at the OI suggests this is not the most liquid product. Is there a larger OTC market in Gas Oil options? If so where were would a good source for market data?Do the IPE settlement implied vols have any validity? Many thanks for any info.

The liquidity is in the OTC market, not the IPE. You'll probably need to contact a broker, i.e TFS, for sufficient OTC data.
