DEA ???

Just a quick one: On the Jobs Board there are postings that specify a PhD and then state that a DEA is sufficient. Familiar with the former but what does the latter stand for?Veegan

Not sure what it stands for but it is European qualification (French I think) which is probably somewhere in between an MSc level and PhD level. Sam

It's French. It stands for Diplome d'Etudes Approfondies.

You are right, It's a French degree and It means Diplome d'Etudes ApprofondiesIt's like a Master of Science for the US.
