Do any of you know what the deal is with all of the software packages out there that claim to predict market moves, low points, highs, etc...? They seem to make outlandish claims about what their products can do, but it does not really add up. Is this kind of thing bogus or is there some validity to it? Also, will these softwares and their future "children" ever replace the need for quant people??
