Is it just me or have there been

a few too many threads getting locked recently. I can understand that Paul would not wish to compromise his legal case by been seen to encourage a discussion on a his eponymous website. However, I do not see the merit of locking the "Whatever happenned to Reza?" and the "Whatever happenned to FDAX ?" threads.

I think it's pretty "fair" to lock, or even delete, a thread which refers to a banned participant. How would you like it if someone banned you from a forum, and then maintained all types of threads talking about you? It's one thing to say "don't post here," but it seems inappropriate to then have people talk about you, and not allow you to respond...

QuoteOriginally posted by: daveangelI am sure wstguru is not a mole. The first line of his post - referring to FDAX as "she" - seemed like trolling. If I know FDAX, that is the type of post he would want to respond to, and it is not unreasonable of him. What kind of trolling is that, trolling a person who is banned? It may just be some fun no one gets to have... and which more mature people won't miss.Mind you, I have no idea why the threads were locked. But I did consider suggesting to wstguru that he delete it when he first posted it. Only, it's not really my business.I just have an aesthetic sense as to what a good thread should be, and a thread naming by name a person who is prohibited from posting in it rubs me wrong. I think this is a courtesy that is shown, even, to more public figures (thought usually they are baited rather than banned in order to sell advertising).

Otherwise it is not fun

daveangel, the locking was because of the insults being thrown around. Most people don't want to read such stuff.(Errrb, I like the way you think! )P

Reza posted in the thread "what happen to Reza" so I must conclude he is able to post, if so he wishes. Maybe is too busy or not interested but he is there; FDAX, although once among the brigthest here...well, the rules are the rules...we might not agree with them but the "GOLDEN RULE" (=First Law of Finance: He who has the gold make the rules!!!) is "da the rule". This website belongs in legal terms to Dr. Wilmott..end of questions.Could I got a beer?
