Hi Claudio,In Italy, there is a MSc Program in Quantitative Finance. Check out Global Derivatives. When you get to there, check out "Universita di Torino". I do not speak Italian, but there is a link there to the university (their english version is "under construction").Anyways, I know that this is not what you were inquiring about, but I thought it'd be pretty cool for you to check it out.Cheers,Rafael

Far harder courses and a far more breath of what you can study ...ie more options of what you can choose to study than what KCL offers....

Thanks Player, that's a good point, what do you mean that IC is really far harder than KLC?from a math or finance point of view?I know that in IC there is more practice on specific issues... Can I ask you if you have been a student in one of those C.?Cheers,

If you chaps are having trouble pricing the utility of KCL vs IC employers will too (let's not mention HR) so go to KCL if it gives you a distinction MSc instead of a merit MSc. Plus the girls are better.

talk to current students at IC, they will give u better idea.Recently IC had new director and he has changed the program a lot and hopefully now the placement scene must have improved....what i know after talking to alumni over there, almost everybody got job but only issue was many of interns/projects were not paid by banks.....QuoteOriginally posted by: Claudio2323Hi, I'm facing this dilemma:taking MSc financial math at KING's or MSc math and finance at IMPERIALI was accepted by KING's and I'm waiting an answer from IC.I would like to have a broad perspective on this issue and to know if there are significant differences..Thanks in advance.

I have no idea about king's but surely if you can pay, IC will be lot better (IC has lot better rputation)).Regarding interns/project i mean during thesis. The worrysome thing was if the big banks are not paying you during the intern, then for sure one is not given quality work experience. But this was one year back, i hope things might have changed a lot after Dr. Albanese came in. I would suggest you to talk to current students.hope this helpsQuoteOriginally posted by: Claudio2323thanks everybody, gtg ... do you mean interns/project during the thesis period or just after the MSc??gtg ... any rumors about King's as well??James H83.... still don't know, looking for a scholarship and of course my own means or loan if I'm not able to to find such a funding source.Cheers,
