You sound like a perfect candidate for one of the many burgeoning master's programs in mathematical finance. Assuming you can afford the tuition, and that you live near a university that offers a decent program, you can get a very focused curriculum that will give you the mathematical and programming knowledge you want. I think most of these programs are set up so that you can do them part-time.In New York, I know that both Columbia and NYU offer part-time master's programs. I'll say "burgeoning". Besides Polytech in Brooklyn, CUNY/Baruch now offers an MS in FinMath. Schools are really jumping on the MS FinMath bandwagon.Wont' be long til the University of Phoenix offers an on-line MS FinMath program.
