Financial Econometrics

Hi everyone. The thing is that I'm looking for any simple paper that deals with financial econometrics, but I haven't been able to get my hands on any yet. I doesn't have to be a complex paper, I just need my students to read it so they could see some examples and realise that econometrics can be applied to almost everything.Any suggestions?

This is their first course of econometrics, that's why I need a simple paper. Maybe, a paper testing the CAPM model or something like that.
