Mathematical Finance

I hace received some admissions for the programme Msc in Finance and Msc in Mathematical Finance.I am interested to work in Investment Banking firms working in derivatives area.Wich of the above programmes is more suited for me?Is there any source ranking Mathematical Finance programme in UK?

Warwick is highly regarded for maths/mathematical finance. Imperial for MSc mathematical finance is also very good but I'm not aware of rankings as such. Global-derivatives.com is a useful source of information for MSC math fin programmes so you should get some useful info from there. You need to get more specific with your question in order to get the most out of the responses. Whats your background, where have you got admissions to etc.. more importantly, saying you want to work in Investment banking firms is er... fairly general. What do you want to do? Only then can you really focus on chosing the right course for you, and there are plenty of people in the forum who are doing / have done these courses...If your not sure yet, you really need some idea before you do a MSc.

What do you want to do in your life?IBs typically employ people in a variety of roles, traders, structurers, quants, analysts, IT, even clerical and security staff.
