autralian hybrid instruments...

these are hybrid in the sense that they have a mixture of bond and equity features. i would like to study these instruments especially in relation to pricing the things. does anyone have any references that i could look at, which cover their reset and option elements. many thanks.Ken

Your best bet would be to try and get hold of a broker's report on some of these hybrids - most of the brokers with big Australian presence (eg UBS, Goldman Sachs) will have such a report detailing the nuances of the different instruments, and how they price them. Also, you should be able to download the prospectus from the company website.

You could also try getting your hands on some termsheets. The MTN-i site also has tons of stuff on this, if you can sift through it...
