Hi there,I have heard some negative comments abouts the trading division (equities derivatives) of Exane based in Paris, and especially that junior people are not well trained in trading and sales in this company. I am surprised because they have received many awards in equity research and have created a solid partnership with BNP Paribas.Do you have any info about the level of complexity of the options they trades? Do they have team working on structured/exotics products like their peers of BNP Paribas? Is it a good place for a junior? If not, what's the reason why?Thanks a lot for any feedback!

I thought Exane was only trading cash equities, while all derivatives business was handled by bnp paribasis that wrong?

nope they have some prop trading of derivatives + some structured productsno idea if it's a good place for a junior though, but would be interested in comments, too

from what I know, not quite the best place for junior people, but that was some time ago. May have evolved since then. Great rep for senior guys though.

What do you mean by NK ?

guy who ran that business - as far as I know it's still independent (and pretty good), however I defer to anyone who might have more recent info!
