Intern housing in NYC?

June 15th, 2005, 4:26 pm

Hi, I have a friend who is going to intern with an IB in the NYC area. What do interns from out of state generally do for temporary housing? Is there anything affordable?-Energydude

It's pretty late in the game to be looking for summer housing, as all NYU and Columbia dorm rooms will be spoken for. One reasonable place to look is on the Craigslist sublets/temp housing board.http://newyork.craigslist.com/sub/.Hope this helps.

Intern housing in NYC?

I'm currently living in an NYU dorm for the summer. Its way too late to apply though. For non-matriculated students, the deadline was March 31. "Affordable" has different meanings for different people. I'm paying $225 per week. Whether that is affordable or not is a matter of opinion.

Hi, thanks, he found a place via craigslist. As Jacobian said the dorm rooms weren't available...
