UBC stat department

Has anybody some info about this department especially their phd program: -how well is it rated in the IB world?-how well is it rated in comparison with other stat deparments in the US (Carnegie Mellon, Columbia, etc...) or with other stat deparmtents in Canada (U Toronto, McGill, ect...)?-also how is their finmath program, any good connection with the phd program in stat?Thanks

I don't know much about the Stats department, but the probability group in the Maths department ranks amongst the best in the world.....

I also heard some good things about UBC, but how good? I really have no idea unless s we ask those current UBC students.

DCFC, any thought about the reputation of this dpt in the job market?Any grad from that dpt in the forum?
