I took the exam. I spent 40 mins instead of 2hr allocated.http://www.brainbench.com/transcript.jsp?pid=5821136I must say even if it can be used for bozo-filtration, you cannot measure one's understading of C++, software design, etc., with these kind of tests. Good for newbies and college kids

I took it---I got a 4.21 score in 30 minutes. But apparently, I'm weak in "C++ class", whatever that means http://www.brainbench.com/transcript.js ... 951çetin's remarks apply---no design questions (although there's a couple of other tests on OO programming and design patterns.)Also, a few questions seemed to boil down to whether one can look up the C++ standard in less than 180 seconds.

yea, i applied to a junior trader internship in london that I found on mathfinanceDOTde. after i submitted my resume, my e-mail inbox got hit with a "c++ exam" from the recruiter's client. basically, it was no problem. but I never got a call back. the recruiters c++ exam actually encouraged you to "try not to reference reading material", and asked for "timed" answers. i tried to be honest. in any even, i am here to say, it never hurts having another bullet on your resume from brainbench. i'm investigating the possibility of taking & passing a MatLab cert, if it is offered. - derivativesgeek aka quantphd
