Just heard that GS is going to start a Global Mathematical Modeling (or something like that) Group in Bangalore. Anyone know anything about this?

Fidelity's Fixed Income division (which runs the fixed income mutual funds and the money market funds for Fidelity - more than $400B total) is hiring quant associates in Bangalore right now. We already have a quant developer team there that's quite successful.

Been involved in interviews of SCOPE (stanchart).as far as I know, They are doing Risk reporting and operational sort of work rather than quantitative stuff

Whats the procedure to get a shot at these firms? i dont see any ads or stuffand what sort of qualification are they looking at? i am from iitm and currently work in the area of risk management for a consultancy firm...but no mba or ms as of now...working in a fairly quanty role and very interested in knowing any other opportunities on offer
