Depends what you want to do, I'd say that 99% of the people i know in the industry didn't study finance, but i work on a trading floor. All of the quants i know studied maths or physics. I'd say that if you're going to study finance with a view to working in the industry, figure out where you want to work and study appropriate subjects for that area.

Depends obviously what you want to do? In very general terms Corporate finance can lead to a career in Invesment banking,etc.. while derivatives pricing or quant is a very different career. Are you doing your bachelors??
