I was wondering if anybody come across 'power flow' models offered by consultants from ICF and Customized Energy Solutions (or any other consultants). How rigorous/detailed are they? Any ideas/insights/ experiences will be greatly appreciated.On a side note, are there forums specific to energy quants/structurers community?Thank you.

to be more specific,'power flow' models that they pitch for FTR valuations (in light of upcoming PJM's annual 06/07 auction).

I have tried their free trials and I'm not impressed. The clearing and DA prices are way off.I believe you might delve into PowerWorld, awesome power flow model that is used by PJM (?) and some plants.
