Dear Hombre,I have just begun yesterday the master...it seems really complete in giving you the mathematical needed to approach to derivatives, but it very hard, I must say....Will the theory we're learning also implemented on comuter during the course?About the exams: are they maily based on the handouts given in the lectures?thanks a lot

We were unlucky enough not to have the C++ course last year so I don't know how that will tie in with the lectures.Generally the exams aren't based on the handouts too much except for maybe one or two parts of an exam question. Try to keep up to date with the problem sheets as otherwise it all builds up. The exams last year were a mixture. About half were hard and half were reasonable. What were you doing before starting the MSc?

Apart form the C++ they're the same ones I did.Applied prob can be hard to get your head around for the first few weeks and there is a lot to learn for financial markets but it is not too difficult.
