I interviewed with them for MBA internship recently . . . phone interview was with the hiring manager and was brutal. Technical questions on interest rate models, finite difference methods, etc. Onsite interview was with 5 different folks . . . again, the hiring manager was brutal . . . this time he tore me apart on Fama-French and Regression, even though the job was for fixed income. The other people hardly even interviewed me. In the end, I did okay, but was second choice (don't feel bad for me, I got a better job in the end). The main thing I learned about them was that they are really into folks with PhDs, and I am an MBA . . . they are not high pressure, fast-moving like other hedge funds. They are VERY research oriented, they love academic-types.I think that the exact hiring process will be very dependent on the hiring manager . . . he could have HR pre-screen candidates or he could interview only a select few himself. If you have some specific questions, feel free to PM me.
