how do i send a private message

Choose the help link from the forum menu and click on the left hand link 'private messages'. You find instructions there to aid you.Regards

I'd add that if you want to message the author of a post, on the top right of the post are some tiny icons.Click on the one that looks like a padlock and that will open up a private message window to that author.Alternatively, at the very top of the page, just below where it says "WilmottServing the quantitative finance community"There is also a small padlock, with a message saying eitherno new message(s).or1 (or however many) new message(s).Click on that, and again you're in private message land
