Traveling In Mexico

September 25th, 2006, 8:54 pm

Oh, if you're traveling in southern Mexico, I know a great place to stay. It's done by some folks who have a network of places for writers/academics/journalists and so on. I have had a great time and these and met some very interesting people. They have other places too. Just wanted to pass it on.

They have places in California, Colorado, Costa Rica, Mexico, New Brunswick, P. E. Island, and Quebec.I'll give info to anybody interested. Just pm me. But, remember they try to keep it to writers/adademics/journalists/intellectuals. Great way to get away from it all and do some research or thinking in peace. No, I'm not associated with them in any way, I just like what they are doing, and I've met some amazing people there (who I won't mention here out of respect for privacy).

By the way, here are the definitions:writer--A person who has been paid a substantial amount of money to write something (no one else qualifies). The topic does not matter at all.academic--A professor/researcher at a first or second tier school.intellectual--A person considered an intellectual by other people who are widely considered intellectuals.
