Desktop buying help

Hi All,I plan to buy a desktop but do not know enough about the hardware and stuff. What i need is a desktop with 2 17" lcd monitors, with atleast 1 gb ram which i plan to use as my home office pc. was thinking of an amd processor. Dont want to spend more than 1000 USD. Whats my best bet? Can someone help pls.Thanks.

you want something like a shuttle box with amd athalon 64; eg., see zapwizard.com. A colleague on this forum has a little shuttle box which is cheap and v fast
