iTraxx Range Accruals

March 29th, 2007, 2:44 pm

I have been seeing these products around in the market for the past months and was wondering if there is a trend going on in which structures typical for interest rates will be used now for credit derivatives. Has anyone seen an article or publication on this? any info will be appreciated.

I have some info on range accruals notes issued by lloyds, and bnp bank, these notes when they are in the secondary market are sold at a discount, as the notes usually have ten year maturities, but usually are called after two years.
