John F. Ehlers

Hello all,Has anyone here studied John F. Ehlers indicators?I am currently using the 'center of gravity' in my trading system.What does everyone else think of his work?Cheers,smiley486

I have Ehlers Laguerre RSI and Ehlers Fisher transform on my platform ,how do you think these two indicators should be backtested ?PS:I have also a pdf of Ehlers and it's called "Mesa and Trading Market cycles" ,did you read it ?

Hey mate,Have not tried the Laguerre RSI though i have many good things about it, same as the fisher transform. Have you ever tried to backtest it?Have not read Mesa and Trading Market cycles. Do you think you can email me the pdf?Thanks

I have looked at past week data with Ehlers RSI ,it's a bit better than the average RSI but it's mostly lagging if I use it the "usual way"(waiting for it to cross over/under the oversold/overbought line) ,so that's why I wondered if there was a particular method for filtering the signals or shorten the delay.PS: look at your PM .
