Will experience in support and implementation of risk management systems like Kondor+,murex help some one in becoming a quantitative analyst?

Yes, if handled properly. Care shold be taken to avoid being sucked into straight IT housekeeping roles. The trick with any skill is to show how it helps you be what you want to be, so put Kondor, Murex in sentences that include quanitsh stuff. Also, you must be prepared to say "no" to job offers that do not help you towards your goal. However, that is not as simple as refusing to go to interviews that look too much like IT. You should be prepared to go, and try and vector them towards what you want. You will of course fail.... usually. However you may succeed, and if you go about it with the right mindset you can learn how to do better next time.HHs hate people that do that, which is one reason I have a collection of nasty emails from them.
