The concepts and practice of mathematical finance

i've never read "heard on the street" but it's a similar idea. I'll be targeting people going for quant jobs rather than MBAs being asked quantitative questions. There will be over 200 questions which were asked in quant job interviews. They will come with detailed answers and discussion. There will also be a list of related questions for each one without answers, so the reader can hone his/her skills.

When one is producing a book to which there is a single close competitor, it is better not to read it so as to avoid the dangers of unconcious plagiarism.

i want my book to give an accurate snapshot of the sort of questions that are asked; if i remove all duplicates it won't do that

I have now almost completely read the "Concepts and practise" and I think it is very good, i.e. clearly written, detailed but not too detailed (e.g. no representation theorems)

I've now created a bulletin board for the book so if you spot any typos or simply want to discuss some aspect of the book, that's the place to look.www.markjoshi.com/conceptsI've also done this for my other book. And I am experimenting with discussing other people's books...

The time has come for a second edition. There won't be any new chapters since these belong in the sequel. However, there is room to clarify existing chapters. So if you have any suggestions, let me know. The main change is 65 pages of new problems and full solutions.

You mentioned before they could be out by the end of last year. I will buy both as soon as they are available.
