Can a retail investor buy credit linked notes?

Can a retail investor buy credit linked notes? If so, which banks offer such service?

I think Commerzbank offers zero-coupon equity tranches based on iTraxx 5 yr... not sure if thats what you had in mind.

Indeed, few German banks (DZ Bank, Commerzbank, LBBW etc.) are offering different types of credit linked notes for retails. Underlyings are among others: Daimler, Porsche Volkswagen,BT Group, Dt. Telekom, France Telecom, Telecom Italia, Telefonica, Kroatien, Polen, Rumänien, Russland, Südafrika, Türkei, UngarnInformation is also available (only in German) here:http://files.ariva.de/public/zertanl/Ze ... 008_04.pdf
