i disagree, that site sucks becuase it only compiles the boost libraries for microsoft enviroments, unless i am missing something.also, i recently re-formated my computer and was having build errors when i was trying to compile bjam with gcc ( if i am correct bjam was written in c)i couldnt find much about this online. has anyone else recently tried to install boost and had problems building bjam?

But it's easy to install on linux if you are a good command-line programmer.

Therefore the windows quantlib users/ developers tend to need a bit more support in terms of quantlib setup and install.
