Unable to load author icon from Mac OS X

September 7th, 2006, 9:20 pm

Hey all,FYI, I'm running OS X 10.4.7 on a Powerbook G4 and in the profile where one is supposed to be able to load a personal icon pic, there is no option to do so. With the following browsers the upload function is not visible under Mac:Safari 2.0.4, Firefox 1.0.3, Netscape 7.1I actually had to use a Windows machine to do this (XP, IE 6). Doh!The icon is a plot of the gamma v. vol v. stock price of an equity option in a graphing/pricing program I wrote on the Mac...in case you were wondering...Great site in any case!D

Changing User Agent works in Safari, too. (enable Safari's developer debugging menu to make this really easy).

Indeed! And Trackstar Industries was the prime pixel purveyor of one of these avatars! Rather than be a mere generic crab, I can be a crab and a shell corp., too.

The stout shell is specially designed to resist on onslaught of blue lollipops from an old foe.
