The path to enlightenment is a long one. Do not fear "old" knowledge for that is the foundation of wisdom. Besides, what much have the young brats to say for themselves, apart from being intimately involved in near destruction of our way of life? What about credit, though? And Monte Carlo methods?P.S. Always loved the Garbade book, that guy was a decade ahead, wonder what ever happened to him? Don't forget the "oldie" swap book by Mirron And Swannell.

I own Tuckman (the book ), so was wondering is it worth it ?For monte Carlo I think the PTE would include :1. Brandimarte 2. Jackael3. McLeish4. C++ frameworks for Monte Carlo by DuffieFor credit risk I liked the book by Chris Culp. One of the assigned readings for FRM syllabus. Great book.Cheers
