Asking For Recommendations After 1 Month?

February 16th, 2010, 3:47 am

I've been at an internship for 1 month, and was wondering if it would be appropriate to ask for letters of recommendation from my superiors for the program I am trying to get into. I started almost exactly a month ago, and feel like I'd really be imposing to ask my superiors for letters of recommendation so early on. What would you advise? Thanks!

your letters will read:"Leex has worked here for 1 month and he's done as much as someone who's worked here for 5 weeks."

I agree with deepvalue, how much value can that letter of recommendation really add to your application provided that you've only worked there for a month?

at least they could provide him with a proof that he is doing the internship - hence, it might not be of "qualit. value", but rather serve as a proof. if it helps for the application, why not!?
