I've worked in TV as a series producer and director for over 30 years. I've also traded quite actively (and successfully), using my own algos, for the past 10 years or so. An idea of mine, looking at the lives of a variety of types of traders, has now been given the go-ahead by the BBC and so I'm now on the lookout for some interview candidates. The thrust of the hour-long programme (which will not be a skim-across-the-surface production for the lowest common denominator I can assure you) is to show how modern technology has changed the face of trading. After a quick recap on how we got here using archive footage I'll be introducing four or five characters that represent various types of traders, from those working for large institutions to those working out of their own home for themselves. I certainly want to include those whose trades are based solely on maths and/or stats and in contrast, those whose trades are based on fundamental info like news.If you think you have a good story and would like to be involved, or know someone you think might fit the bill, then please get in touch.
