I wanted to apply to this company what does their programme entail. What sort of grads do they take on. Is it like a proper graduate programme. As I have heard that the pay is calculated according to the money you generate and you get a percentage of it. Is there also a starting salary. What other costs are involved. Also do you know of any other companies like this that take on graduates.

Hey there all.....I'm jumping on the GHCO bandwagon. Just had an interview with GHCO a few days ago. Anyone else awaiting the outcome/2nd round?

How was the first round of interviews with GHCO? I sent in my resume a few days ago. I hear they mainly deal with futures, I am not sure if that is true or not? Anyone with an idea of the firms operations as well as type and intensity of interview would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Ah....still hiring, eh? That's good to hear.Interviews will be broken up as follows: 2 minute maths test to answer 60 questions (if I remember correctly).....yes 2 minutes! They're simple, quick-fire mental arithmetic type questions and you're not expected to answer all of them. Very much like Optiver's test I would imagine - refer to this thread: OptiverImmediately after that, the interview with a risk manager or senior trader should last about 30 minutes. Questions are mostly psychometric i.e. testing your ability to be a good trader. If there's still some uncertainty after that interview, they'll offer you a 2nd round interview to determine your skills match.Best of luck and let me know how it goes! Hope to see you on the other side!Urot

My friend just got a job there and I actually have an interview with them tomorrow. They trade 5 and 10 year's. They pay entry level traders 35000 + an "almost gauranteed 15,000 bonus" (according to my friend anyway). He says this one guy made 300k his third year. Apparently the interview questions are mostly behavioral and they don't ask a whole lot about your background. I think they want to see if you are a risky person, etc...

Thank for the intel- it's the exact same offer I just received. Apparently, they are looking for 12 candidates this round. I'm trying to dig up some scuttlebutt about them to help make my decision. Any good info you can provide?
