Michael Monagan et al wrote a book entitled "Programming Guide" that usually comes with the Maple package. This is a good starting point for Maple V programming.Good luck!

Checkhttp://www.bl.physik.tu-muenchen.de/rechner/ma ... .html"This is a tutorial on programming in Maple. The aim is to show how you can write simple programs in Maple for doing numerical calculations, linear algebra, and programs for simplifying or transforming symbolic expressions or mathematical formulae. It is assumed that the reader is familiar with using Maple interactively as a calculator."May be useful.Cheers
