Startup or Top-Tier ?

Would you take a job with a small start-up hedge fund when you also have an offer from a top-tier institution?Start-up offers large written bonus guarantee (up-front payment), but of course, is very risky as opposed to the alternative to work for a top institution which would look great on CV, but is financially less rewarding, at least at the moment...

BTW, I think it depends on the stage you're with your life at. Married? Kids? Mortgage?If not, fck the system and pick the more interesting stuff.
