Choosing courses for MFE

September 12th, 2011, 10:38 am

Hi,I'm trying to choose a set of elective courses to take during the MFE program. Which of the following you'd consider to be more relevant for a practitioner (i.e. will be useful and look better on CV)?An Introduction to CopulasLévy Processes Thanks.

I like the Frictions one, frankly because it sounds the hardest. My first cut on choosing courses is based upon filling in holes of skills that you need to function and to identify skills where you believe you are better than most people. The Copulas course is clearly key for Credit Derivatives, is that an area you want to be in ?All have a reasonable amount of value in general.
