Will the job market pick up Q1 2012?

December 27th, 2011, 1:02 am

Many HH say it will... many front guys say it won't.....so will the front start hiring again despite the euro fears or will most of the hiring still happen in support departments? or neither? or both? ... a bit of an open question for the quiet days between Christmas and NY...!Season's Greetings to you all...D.

Sounds more like HH are hopeful and front is anxious. It sounds more like human nature at play. Hopefully things will improve in 2012. Even on the support side (IT) I noticed that salaries have dropped markedly. 2 years back senior Java IT guy came with a $180K to $200k tag in job openings (It was an exaggeration but still). Today the same ad's say $130k. I am hoping that people have just stopped exaggerating now.
