FDAX you sound a little bitter on the subject of TD - are you by any chance an ex-employee?

Who me? Nah... But I trade with them on occasion... They're losers... but then again, most large banks are... I would have said the same thing about Deutsche, Dresdner or Merrill. But I have to say... in terms of cluelessness.. they rank waaaayy up there... but hey, as long as I can trade away from sheets with them, I ain't complaining

Oh... and I think they fired a bunch of people... basically, if I understand correctly, TD Securities equity derivs division used to be Stafford Trading... who sold it to them for some hefty sum of money... then they found out that all they bought was a useless shell of nothing but air... so they had to write it off (or part of it or something), yeah, anyway, I don't know all the details, but I seems they totally got suckered into paying top-dollars for nothing... Put that together with them losing their ass on the credit side and one or two other billion dollar acquisitions that turned out to be hot air as well... you end up...with, well .... hot air....Regards. PS: I know from a couple of people on this forum thatI'm not alone with that opinion.... So the thing to do is, never be on the receiving side on a TDBank CDS... ever.

Thank you for your kind words! You must excuse me I'm just off to sell some Motorola puts - some kind trader has bid me a tick over Fridays close which seems to be a very good trade.

Or do you use your own sheets. I hear some traders there do that, because the sheets produced by the models are useless, so they trade off their own excel sheets... I find that hilarious.... hehehe are you one of them?
