Developing with the Bloomberg API

Good morning,Is there a way to develop an application in C# using the Bloomberg API without having a Bloomberg license? The problem: is it possible to debug and see how the Bloomberg objects behave?

You could use mock objects to simulate the library

nope. not if you just have the terminal. You could do through their webservice-API, but as I do not get a dime for selling their services, you will have to ask your dealer to make you have the sample fix.

Hello. I'm a little late to the party, but I found a CodePlex project that emulates the Bloomberg API for you. I tried it out with my Bloomberg account, and the results look the same. My Bloomberg requests work with the CodePlex project. The data is fake though, but you can use this for development if you don't have a Bloomberg account.http://bemu.codeplex.com/

I think the bottom number is for the previous seven days. The top number is closer to the total ... sometimes.
